West Aurora High School Solo/Ensemble Festival

The format for our Solo & Ensemble Festival is designed to combine performance with meaningful instruction. At the beginning of each session, every room will host four to five performances in a mini-recital setting. Students will serve as supportive audience members for one another, and family and friends are welcome to attend.

Following the recital portion, the clinician will use the remainder of the hour to provide individual and group feedback in a masterclass-style format. All performers are expected to remain in the room for the full session so they can learn not only from their own comments, but from the instruction given to others.
